OCTOBER GROWTH - 19 October 2012

Exactly 30 days ago, I posted a picture of my garden and it is amazing to see all the growth one month on…
The snowpeas and broadbeans especially have grown immensely!  And of course the tomatoes are in now down the back.  Even our giant elm tree has some leaves now and the lavender border has just started to flower today.
There are a lot of various vegetables in these beds:
  • Broccoli
  • Squash
  • Pumpkin
  • Corn
  • Cucumber
  • Eggplant
  • Courgette
  • Cabbage
  • Chinese Cabbage (several varieties)
  • Snow Peas
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Broadbeans
  • Garlic
  • Spring Onion
  • Red Onion
  • Leeks
  • Lettuce (many varieties)
  • Spinach
  • Carrots
  • Parsnip
  • Radish
  • Swede
  • Beetroot
  • Potatoes
It is pouring down and hopefully over the weekend I’ll get to plant out the capsicum andchili.  Next week my celery seedlings should be big enough to go out too!
Hope everyone has a great Labour Weekend.  Happy planting all!
