Wow…FIFTY days of blogging in a row. It is amazing to think of the great progress that my garden has made in the past 50 days….so here is a pic of:
- RIGHT: a row of beetroot on the right that I planted out on the day I started this challenge exactly 50 days ago (currently doing really well under the upcycled 1 litre juice bottles that are now having a new life as cloches)
- LEFT: a row of carrots on the left that I planted out 30 days ago which are doing really well and haven't been attacked by aphids and are also under upcycled cloches)
- CENTRE: another row of carrots which I planted out 20 days ago (these are experimental ones which were planted out according to the moon calendar which are currently under attack as per yesterday's post...)
- BACK: some sprouting climbing beans that are doing really well too - 100% germination of three different varieties of climbing beans!
Happy days! I just hope we get some rain now…as much as I love sunny weather, we’ve had five days in a row of sunshine…and a good soaking would do the garden a world of good!
