TIME TO TIDY UP THE HERB GARDEN - 22 September 2012

I have just finished a busy day at work at it is a BEAUTIFUL day here in Wellington, so time to do a much needed tidy up in the garden!  I have just pulled out all my Yates Parsley ‘Italian Plain Leaf’ which has gone to seed.  In this garden I have:
  • Bay Leaf tree
  • Artichokes
  • Rosemary
  • Yates Peppermint
  • Yates Chives
  • Yates Parsley – Curled
  • Yates Parsley – Italian Plain Leaf
  • Yates Dill
  • Yates Coriander
  • Yates Sweet Basil
  • Yates Thyme
  • Yates Oregano
The oregano, thyme, chives, mint and curled parsley are all doing really well and the dill is just starting to sprout, but I’ll have to plant some more coriander and get my basil in too!  I am going to dig up beside this garden and put some lime chip down to create an Italian looking pathway too.  Right – better get into it and make the most of the next couple of hours of sunshine!
