HAPPY LITTLE SEEDLINGS – 14 September 2012

I am having so much fun, planting up a storm with the on-set of spring! As well as my indoor tender seedlings, I have my hardy seedlings outside. Making good use of my recycling skills, I cut up old milk bottles and make them into little labels for each tray of seedlings. I love italian cooking, so I’m trying out growing my own Radicchio this year too! We have also developed a real taste for the Chinese Cabbage – Wombok so that’s in there too. In this picture you’ll find:
  1. Yates Spring Onions
  2. Yates Leek - Welsh Wonder
  3. Yates Broccoli - Summer Harvest
  4. Yates Silverbeet - Compact Deep Green
  5. Yates Lettuce - Buttercrunch
  6. Yates Lettuce - Great Lakes Iceberg
  7. Yates Raddicchio
  8. Yates Spinach - Summer Supreme
In a couple more weeks when these seedlings are big and strong, I'll be planting them into my ultimate raised beds!
