It is a gorgeous warm, sunny spring day here in Wellington and I have been out inspecting slug damage only to find that I have a problem with birds! Something has been nibbling away at them for weeks and I’ve been trying to figure it out…
I was so pleased today see the first flowers appearing on my snow peas and discovered the little darlings in the act of nibbling away on the leaves. These are my absolute favourite vegetables and I have been waiting for 12 months to grow these again. Any hints on what I can do? (I don’t really want to hang CDs in the garden like some people do as a preventative measure and don’t have room for a scarecrow).
All tips gratefully received!
